Back-to-School Lighting

We'd dedicated a few entries a couple of weeks ago to back-to-school. How can we forget the increasing pressures of shopping for just the right items at just the right prices? The Sunday papers are swelling with flyers advertising "must haves" in order to ensure your child's success at school. So--we're going to fill their bags and boxes with stuff that the kids absolutely need to have a happy and healthy education. Beyond the requisite pencils and papers to help students achieve a perfect balance between the three "Rs", what do they need? Light!!!! Lots and lots of light.

For the junior high and high school students, locker lighting has become a popular item. Mr Beams offers the Stick Anywhere Lights which can be mounted with an adhesive (included with the product) to the inside of a locker door or on the ceiling of the locker, or you can simply place the light on a shelf in the locker. When the motion sensor detects motion, the light turns on, allowing students to find books, notebooks, pens....particularly useful mid-year when textbooks might be nesting among gym clothes, sneakers, coats and gloves.
